A Heartfelt Thank You to Bolton Branch and the National Mahila Team
The SPA Coventry Mahila team had the privilege of attending the Mahila Samelan 2026, hosted by the Bolton Branch, and we returned home with full hearts and wonderful memories.
From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the welcome set the tone for the entire day. The venue was beautifully arranged, the programme was thoughtfully coordinated, and every detail -- from the morning breakfast through to the closing session reflected the dedication and effort of the entire Bolton organising team.
A Day of Inspiration and Activity
The programme struck an excellent balance between meaningful discussion and joyful participation. The sports sessions were a particular highlight, shining a light on the remarkable achievements of our young Hindu women in football, boxing, cricket, water polo and more a source of real pride for all in attendance.
The afternoon activities brought tremendous energy and laughter. Walking football led by the FA, table tennis, hula hoops, and the ever-competitive tug-of-war drew enthusiastic participation from across the branches. The morning yoga session offered a wonderful start to the day calm, grounding and beautifully delivered.
Unity Across Branches
Seeing so many branches come together sharing stories, building connections and enjoying each other's company was a powerful reminder of how vibrant and resilient our Samaj is.
